Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I book?
You can even book for the same day if we have availability! However, our larger meeting rooms and the event space are often snapped up weeks in advance, so we recommend securing your spot as soon as your meeting date is set.
What if I need to cancel or change my booking?
We know calendars change quickly. You can cancel or change your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the booked time. For cancellations within 48 hours, 50% of the rental fee will be charged. If anything changes, just email us at hello@kubik.hu or call (+36) 20 540 5454 and we'll help you reschedule!
How can I pay?
We are a cashless office, so you can pay on site by card, via a payment link, or by bank transfer in advance. We always issue a company invoice.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes! You can park on Jászai Mari tér and along the embankment (paid parking zone), which you can easily manage with the Parkl app. If you prefer a car park, you'll find one a 2–3 minute walk away, behind the Vígszínház (Comedy Theatre).
Can we bring our own catering? Can we buy coffee or soft drinks?

Of course, you're welcome to bring your own food and drinks! But if you'd rather not deal with the organising, we've got more on offer than the welcome coffee and water:

  • Unlimited coffee: If you need more caffeine after the welcome coffee, you can order an unlimited coffee package for HUF 1,000 + VAT per person.
  • Soft drinks and teas: Fancy a Coke, a Fanta or a good cup of tea? We have those too.
  • Catering: We're happy to arrange coffee break packages, sandwiches or full catering from our partners.

(Our café is cashless, so on-site purchases can only be paid by card!)

What equipment is in the rooms? Should I bring an adapter?

The rooms are equipped with a projector or LCD TV, a whiteboard/flipchart and super-fast Wi-Fi. We provide all the cables and adapters you need on site (HDMI, USB-C, Mac adapters), so all you need to bring is your laptop.

How early can we arrive before the meeting?

Organisers and guests are welcome in our community space 10–15 minutes before the booking starts. Grab a coffee and get into the right frame of mind for your meeting. Please note that rooms sometimes change over back to back, with the previous group leaving just as you're about to start, so there may be a 2–3 minute delay while we quickly get the room ready for you.

Can I rent a room outside opening hours (evenings or weekends)?
Our regular opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00–18:00. For evening or weekend workshops and events, we can make the space available by individual arrangement. Write to us at hello@kubik.hu and we'll work out the details!
